Description
The solo artist David Bowie features on the third of the ‘Music Legends’ issue. Royal Mint engraver Jody Clark designed both the reverse design of Bowie, as well as the obverse fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The £25 piece is made of 24 carat gold (0.999 fine) and weighs 7.78 grams. The coin comes in its original presentation box, complete with outer card sleeve and certificate of authenticity. Only 1,300 pieces were issued by the Royal Mint. The Royal Mint has issued a range of coins with the design, including a gold proof one kilo coin, gold proof two ounce, gold proof one ounce, silver proof two ounce, silver proof one ounce and a number of cupro nickel coin packs.Summary
